Citroen has announced revised pricing and trims for its electric e-SpaceTourer MPV, which sees prices being slashed.

Introduced in 2020, the e-SpaceTourer is an electric version of the firm’s large people carrier, which offers seating for up to seven. It was the first in Citroen’s revised EV line-up, and has since been joined by the e-C4.

As part of the changes, Citroen has slashed its prices, with the new entry-level Business Edition more than £14,000 cheaper than the previous lead-in model. It also now qualifies for the government’s plug-in car grant, with prices starting from £31,995 once the incentive has been deducted.

The Business Edition is capable of seating nine in a three-three-three layout, with standard equipment including cruise control, air conditioning and a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There’s a rather steep jump in price to the top-spec Flair model, though, which is priced from £47,995. Additional equipment includes 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, a panoramic glass roof, leather upholstery and electric, heated and massaging front seats. It also comes with adaptive cruise control, a head-up display and upgraded navigation system.

The e-SpaceTourer uses a 50kWh battery combined with a 100kW (134bhp) electric motor. Citroen claims 143 miles on a single charge, while 100kW rapid charging capability means an 80 per cent recharge can take just 30 minutes.
