Raen SA, a Polish renewables company, has joined forces with Grupo Cobra, a Spanish firm, to embark on a solar photovoltaic project with a capacity of over 150 MWp in Poland. The collaboration involves Raen selling an 80% stake in Solar Polska New Energy to Grupo Cobra’s Zero-E unit. Raen will oversee the process of obtaining approvals and permits for the project and will receive financial compensation upon meeting certain milestones. Additionally, Raen will retain a 20% stake in the construction and management of the solar farm.
Situated in Dobra, the project is anticipated to undergo a two to three-year permitting process. The partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the financial outcomes of the Raen Capital Group.
