The highly-anticipated 2024 edition of Tomorrowland Brasil has just announced that it will be adopting the theme from the flagship event in 2023. Despite a bit of rain last year, festival-goers at Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo enjoyed themselves immensely, prompting the return of the event from October 11-13 this year with elements that fans of the global brand will undoubtedly recognize.
The theme for Tomorrowland Brasil 2024 will be “Ascendo,” which promises to transform Parque Maeda into a magical destination high on the horizon. This includes the stunning Ascendo mainstage that debuted at the original Belgium event last year. Standing at an impressive 141 feet tall and 525 feet wide, the mainstage boasts 2,428 square feet of video tiles, 1,050 lamps, 230 speakers and subs, 30 lasers, 48 fountains, and 15 waterfall pumps.
Having started in 2005 in Boom, Belgium with just 10,000 attendees, Tomorrowland has grown into a massive event that attracts over 400,000 attendees annually, with artists performing across 14 stages. Last year, the theme for Tomorrowland Belgium 2024 was revealed to be “Life,” accompanied by a novel.
After a six-year hiatus due to economic challenges in the country, Tomorrowland Brasil returned in 2023, following its first installment in 2015. While the lineup for Tomorrowland Brasil 2024 has yet to be announced, last year’s event featured headliners such as Jessica Audiffred, Afrojack, Indira Paganotto, Alok, Da Tweekaz, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix.
Pre-registration for tickets to Tomorrowland Brasil 2024 is now open, with sales starting on May 2. For more information and to secure your passes, visit the official Tomorrowland Brasil website.
