The Bountiful Davis Art Center’s Statewide Annual exhibition will be held from May 17 to July 27, with an opening reception on May 17 from 6-8 pm where awards will be announced at 7 pm. This competitive exhibition aims to showcase the diverse artistic talents in Utah, providing a platform for both early and later career artists to gain exposure and opportunities for professional growth in the local arts community.
Featuring a range of artistic disciplines, from traditional paintings and sculptures to innovative installations and new media works, the exhibition each year selects a guest juror to curate the show and award the top three pieces. This year, the juror is Joseph Ostraff, a renowned artist and professor of art at Brigham Young University. Joseph, along with his wife Melinda, has a unique studio practice that focuses on the intersection of human geography and nature.
The event will be hosted at the Bountiful Davis Art Center located at 90 N Main St. in Bountiful, UT 84010. For more information, contact 801.295.3618 or email info@bdac.org. The center is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from noon to 5 pm.
