Casio, the renowned watchmaker, has recently announced a groundbreaking partnership with Astar’s zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) to launch an NFT collection. This collaboration is a tribute to Casio’s 50th anniversary and marks a significant milestone for both companies.
The partnership aims to enhance scalability through the alliance of Casio and Astar zkEVM, powered by Polygon. Utilizing the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK), Astar zkEVM has integrated the gamified user onboarding experience Yoki Origins into its latest partnership with Casio, offering an innovative solution for Ethereum Layer-2 scaling.
One of the highlights of the NFT collection is the depiction of iconic Casio watch models in each digital artwork. The collection, named Yoki Origins, will feature the Casio YoPort capsule machine, with two versions available for purchase – one offering a single NFT and the other including eight NFTs. The official Reveal Day for these artworks is set for May 10, adding anticipation and excitement to the release.
