The London Latin Music Festival, La Linea, is set to return with an exciting full line-up that promises to showcase the best of Latin music and culture. The event, organized by Como No, has become the capital’s largest celebration of Latin music since its inception in 2001.
Among the newly announced artists is Edä Diaz, a Franco-Colombian singer who will be making her UK debut at the festival. She combines traditional Latin American sounds with experimental pop influences and industrial electronica. Also featured in the line-up is the UK premiere of Pablo Avarena’s film “Chile Estyle,” a documentary highlighting Chile’s street art tradition, curated by DJ Raff.
Adding to the lineup is Mariachi Las Adelitas UK, a seven-piece all-female band challenging stereotypes in the male-dominated tradition of Mariachi playing. Colombian vocalist Montañera will support Ana Tijoux, showcasing her acclaimed album “A Flor De Piel.” These artists join the likes of Los Tigres del Norte, Lila Downs, La Yegros, Fruko, Ana Tijoux, and many more.
The festival will take place from April 12th to April 22nd, 2024, marking the twenty-fourth edition of La Linea. This edition will be the last under the leadership of its founder Andy Wood. Tickets and the full line-up can be found on the festival’s website. Don’t miss out on this incredible celebration of Latin music in the heart of London.
