Innodisk, a tech company based in New Taipei City, Taiwan, recently demonstrated its edge AI integration capabilities at the NVIDIA GTC event. The company showcased innovative smart manufacturing solutions powered by NVIDIA Metropolis for Factories technology, with a focus on AOI defect detection.
One of the highlights of the demonstration was the EV2U-SGR1 low-light USB camera module, which can improve smart factory efficiency by overcoming dim lighting constraints. The module features lens specifications and customized 3A functions including auto-focus, auto-exposure, and auto-white balance. Innodisk also presented industrial-grade SSDs, memory products, and expansion modules as part of its smart manufacturing solutions.
The AI applications showcased by Innodisk at GTC utilize key development tools from the NVIDIA AI Enterprise, an end-to-end cloud-native software platform. These tools include the NVIDIA TAO Toolkit for model training, the NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for model deployment and management, and the DeepStream SDK for AI inference. These tools are packaged as microservices that can be controlled using intuitive REST-APIs.
Innodisk’s presentation at the NVIDIA GTC event highlights the company’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation in smart manufacturing and AI integration.
