Search Underway for Missing Houston Woman Nevaeh Woodall

HOUSTON — The Houston Police Department has initiated an investigation into the disappearance of 18-year-old Nevaeh Woodall, who was last seen on the evening of Sunday, February 12, near Kingwood Drive, close to the Eastex Freeway. This case has sparked concern among her family and the community, prompting urgent appeals for information regarding her whereabouts.

According to family statements, Nevaeh had traveled from her home in Canton, East Texas, to visit her boyfriend in Kingwood. Reports indicate that an argument occurred between the couple, which led Nevaeh to leave the premises on foot. Family members assert that she was subsequently pulled over by law enforcement for allegedly running a stop sign on Kingwood Drive. This encounter is reportedly the last confirmed sighting of her.

Nevaeh Woodall is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. As she was last seen wearing a black shirt, black lounge pants, black house shoes, and a black beanie, authorities have urged the public to be vigilant and report any potential sightings or relevant information.

In a concerning twist to the situation, Nevaeh’s family shared that she lost her phone during the altercation with her boyfriend, which significantly impedes communication efforts. Furthermore, her vehicle, a white 2014 Chevrolet Malibu bearing temporary plates (6876T37), does not have a GPS tracking system, complicating the search efforts. Family members have also expressed concerns regarding her mental well-being, suggesting that she may be experiencing a mental health crisis while away from home.

Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Nevaeh. Those with information pertinent to her case are encouraged to contact the Houston Police Department at 713-884-3131 or the Missing Persons Unit directly at 832-394-1840.

The disappearance of young individuals can often highlight underlying issues related to mental health and personal crises. As this search unfolds, it serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of communication, mental well-being, and the community’s role in supporting those in distress.

As investigations continue, the Woodall family remains hopeful for her safe return, while the community rallies together to assist in bringing Nevaeh home.
