Belgian harpist Anneleen Lenaerts has recently joined the roster of Askonas Holt for worldwide general management, making her the only harpist on the agency’s roster. She will be managed by Kate Sweeney and Melanie Moult.
Lenaerts has been serving as the Principal Harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic since 2010 and has established herself as a prominent soloist, having performed with renowned orchestras such as the Symphonieorchester des Bayerische Rundfunk, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and the Brussels Philharmonic, among others.
Her impressive career also includes recitals at prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, as well as appearances at esteemed festivals such as the Rheingau Musik Festival and the Aspen Music Festival.
As an exclusive recording artist with Warner Classics, Lenaerts received an Opus Klassik Award for her 2019 release of Nino Rota’s harp works with Emmanuel Pahud and the Brussels Philharmonic.
In the 2023/24 season, Lenaerts made debuts with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and the Philharmonie Zuidnederland. Expressing her excitement for this new chapter, Lenaerts took to social media to share her enthusiasm for working with Askonas Holt as her general management.
