The RHS Malvern Spring Festival, also known as the Malvern Spring Show, is set to take place at Worcestershire’s Three Counties Showground in May. This four-day celebration of all things horticultural is a highlight for many as it marks the beginning of the RHS flower show season and showcases fresh horticultural talent against the stunning backdrop of the Malvern Hills.
The 2024 edition of the festival will feature renowned personalities such as Alan Titchmarsh MBE, Adam Frost, Frances Tophill, James Alexander-Sinclair, Ellen Mary, and Toby Buckland. Attendees can look forward to a Kitchen Garden Theatre offering cooking demonstrations by experts like Jekka McVicar and Si King from The Hairy Bikers. Another new addition this year is the Festival of Houseplants, where specialists will provide insights on selecting the perfect houseplants.
The event will also include attractions like the RHS Floral Marquee with displays from over 50 UK nurseries, the Plant Village and Pavilions showcasing bulbs and plants, and the Festival Theatre hosting top horticulturalists and TV personalities. Additionally, artisan food and drink producers from the region will be present.
For children under 16, entry is free, making it a family-friendly event with activities like the School Gardens themed “Bring Your Favourite Book to Life” and the Discovery Dome offering science activities, arts and crafts sessions, and entertainment.
