Payments and Treasury Management Platform Vitesse Secures Million for US Growth.

U.K. fintech company Vitesse recently announced the closure of a million Series C funding round led by investment giant KKR. This significant investment comes from KKR’s Next Generation Technology Growth Fund III, a fund totaling billion that was closed last year.

Founded in London in 2013 by Paul Townsend and Phil McGriskin, Vitesse offers insurance companies an all-in-one treasury and payment management platform. This platform connects to a network of clearing systems to simplify international payments, providing access to domestic banking services for seamless cross-border transactions. Additional services include liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting, and real-time visibility into cash positions across various accounts and currencies.

Vitesse had previously raised .4 million in a Series A round in 2020 and million in a Series B round two years later. With the latest million in funding, the company is focusing on expanding its presence in the U.S., with banking veteran Curt Hess leading the growth efforts in the country.

In addition to KKR, other investors participating in Vitesse’s Series C round include Hoxton Ventures, Octopus Ventures, and Hannover Digital Investments. This new funding will support Vitesse’s continued growth and expansion in the fintech industry.
