Celebrities were seen leaving the Carlyle Hotel in New York’s Upper East Side on their way to the Met Gala. Excited fans gathered outside the hotel in hopes of getting a sneak peek at the stars’ outfits before they hit the red carpet.
This year, the Met Gala will honor The Costume Institute’s spring 2024 exhibit titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The event’s co-chairs include Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Bad Bunny.
The theme of this year’s exhibition revolves around the idea of reimagining delicate designs that are not meant to be worn again. Attendees are expected to adhere to the dress code of “The Garden of Time,” inspired by JG Ballard’s 1962 story.
