‘Successful Fundraising Gala Sets New Record in Stylish St. Louis’

The 40th annual Festival Gala and Auction hosted by Easterseals Midwest broke fundraising records by bringing in an impressive 8,968. Over 400 local attendees gathered to support the organization’s mission of providing life-changing services to nearly 6,500 adults, children, and families in need.

Easterseals Midwest is a major nonprofit provider of disability services in the Midwest, focusing on four main service areas: autism, community living, early childhood-home visiting, and employment. The funds raised at the event will directly impact the lives of those who rely on Easterseals for daily support.

The Festival Gala and Auction has been a staple event for Easterseals Midwest, raising a total of nearly million since its inception. This year, philanthropist Judy Kent was honored for her dedication to the organization. Kent has chaired the event for 20 years, alongside her husband, Jerry.

CEO of Easterseals Midwest, Wendy Sullivan, praised Judy Kent for her hands-on leadership and passion for the organization’s mission. Many attendees consider the Festival Gala and Auction as the kickoff to the holiday season, thanks to Kent’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those Easterseals supports.
