100.3 The Peak Launches “Month of Miracles” to Support Children in New Mexico

In a heartfelt initiative, 100.3 The Peak has commenced its “Month of Miracles,” a fundraising campaign designed to benefit New Mexico’s children, in partnership with American Home Furniture & Mattress. This event aims to rally the community around the critical needs of pediatric patients at the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital.

Throughout March, listeners are encouraged to tune in to the morning show hosted by Jackie, Tony, and Ryan. Every Friday at 7:40 AM, the hosts will share inspiring stories from patients and families at the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital. These narratives highlight the resilience and hope found in the face of challenging medical circumstances, aiming to foster a deeper connection between the community and the hospital.

The funding raised during this campaign is vital for acquiring essential medical equipment and providing much-needed resources that support young patients and their families across New Mexico. The past year has been particularly impactful, as the hospital serves over 59,000 pediatric patients annually from all 33 counties in New Mexico, as well as parts of Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. This demographic includes a diverse range of medical needs, making community support more crucial than ever.

This year’s Month of Miracles holds a particularly poignant significance, as the campaign honors the memory of Eliana Alderete, a young patient who passed away shortly after the previous Radiothon. On March 28th, the show will feature a tribute montage that includes Eliana’s own voice, illustrating the personal impact that donations can make on children’s lives.

Through the Month of Miracles, 100.3 The Peak invites the New Mexico community to join in a collective effort to support the region’s only dedicated children’s hospital, fostering hope and healing for young patients and their families.
