Supremex Inc., a leading North American manufacturer and marketer of envelopes and paper-based packaging solutions, has announced the acquisition of Forest Envelope Group in the U.S. Midwest. Forest Envelope, located in Bolingbrook, Illinois, is known for its specialty envelope manufacturing and has been in operation for over 40 years.
The acquisition, valued at approximately US.8 million, was funded through Supremex’s existing credit facility. Stewart Emerson, President and CEO of Supremex, highlighted that the acquisition of Forest Envelope aligns well with the company’s existing operations in the U.S. Midwest. By integrating Forest Envelope’s activities into their existing plants in Naperville and Chicago, Supremex aims to provide customers with increased capacity and a wider product offering.
Supremex currently operates ten manufacturing facilities in Canada and six in the United States, with a total workforce of around 1,000 employees. The company serves a variety of clients, including major corporations, direct mailers, government entities, and small to medium-sized businesses.
