After a five-year break, the Leap Dance Festival is back in Liverpool’s theatres and cultural venues thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign. The festival kicks off on Friday, April 26 at The Black-E with an exciting night of cabaret, burlesque, and circus performances. The festival will then travel to various venues across the city, including The Capstone Theatre and National Museums Liverpool, before wrapping up on Friday, May 10 with House of Suarez.
Local dance artists and companies, alongside young people and community groups, will showcase a variety of dance styles such as burlesque, breakdance, contemporary dance, and even a ceilidh. Ticket prices for the performances range from free to £25, making it an accessible and diverse festival for all to enjoy.
