The picturesque Jazz in the Park Festival is set to take place in the beautiful Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca in late summer. Promising a mix of new discoveries and experiences, the festival will run from August 30th to September 1st.
The lineup for the 12th edition of the festival includes a mix of big names and exciting newcomers in the jazz scene. From bass great Avishai Cohen to piano star Tigran Hamasyan and drummer Manu Katché, the festival will showcase a variety of jazz styles. Funk legends Cymande and crowd-pleasing shows like Postmodern Jukebox will also be featured. Rising stars such as bass guitar prodigy Kynga Glyk, London-based collective Oreglo, and local heroes Krisper and Amphitrio will also take the stage.
Jazz in the Park aims to create an inclusive atmosphere where jazz newcomers and aficionados can come together to enjoy the music. The festival takes place in the local Village Museum, creating a unique and intimate setting for live music. With a daily crowd limit of 7,000 people, attendees can immerse themselves in the music community.
