A mesmerizing multimedia exhibition celebrating the life and remarkable artworks of Vincent van Gogh is set to captivate audiences in Glasgow this summer. Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will be showcased at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) from July 11 to August 4.
Tickets for this groundbreaking exhibit will go on sale to the public on April 29 at 9am, and high demand is anticipated. Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh has already wowed over five million viewers across North America. Now, it is making its Scottish debut in Glasgow following a successful run in Liverpool.
This immersive experience combines over 300 of Van Gogh’s iconic paintings with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated soundtrack to narrate the story of this influential artist. The paintings are brought to life in three-dimensional, fully immersive scenes that swirl with color and movement, providing an exhilarating experience for all.
Guests will embark on a journey through Van Gogh’s world, transitioning from darkness to light, while accompanied by the artist’s dreams, thoughts, and words set to a moving symphonic score. The exhibition starts in the Introduction Hall, where visitors connect with Van Gogh through personal letters to his brother Theo, before entering the heart of the exhibit – the Immersive Room. Here, his paintings are liberated from frames, dominating the space and engulfing the audience in vibrant landscapes and colorful flowers.
Even those unfamiliar with Van Gogh’s work will find this exhibit as an excellent entry point into the artist’s world, offering a deeper connection to the man behind the art. Additionally, special Saturday morning yoga sessions are available within the exhibit, providing a unique experience for visitors.
