Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary Welcome New Puppy to This Morning Family

The popular TV show This Morning, hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, has introduced a new furry member to its family. Following the recent unveiling of Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard as new hosts, the duo showcased an adorable eight-week-old puppy on Friday’s episode.

Named Buddy, the yellow Labrador puppy will be trained as an Autism Assistance dog to support both children and adults with autism. Dermot O’Leary emphasized the importance of Buddy’s role as an assistance dog during the show, highlighting the training process and the impact Buddy will have on individuals with autism.

The Chief Operating Officer of Dogs for Autism charity, Jan Kiley, explained that Buddy’s training will focus on manners, socialization, and specific tasks tailored for autistic individuals. Viewers were given the opportunity to suggest names for the new puppy, and after receiving numerous suggestions, Buddy was officially chosen as the name.

This Morning viewers can look forward to following Buddy’s journey and progress as he continues his training to become a valuable member of the This Morning family.
