‘Commmemorating a Quarter Century of LEGO Star Wars with the ’25-Second Film Festival”

The LEGO Group is excited to announce the launch of the ’25-Second Film Festival’ in celebration of the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. This festival is a fantastic opportunity for fans to showcase their creativity and passion for the iconic franchise. Filmmakers of all levels are encouraged to submit their 25-second films, whether it be stop motion brick films, hand-drawn animations, or CGI creations, as long as they feature LEGO Star Wars sets and Minifigures.

The submission period is open from now until April 22nd on LEGO.com/LSW-25. Films that meet the guidelines will have a chance to be featured on the official LEGO YouTube channel or the festival website between May 4th and 25th. While this is not a competition, participants will receive exclusive digital rewards through LEGO Insiders for submitting their films.

Fans are urged to spread the word about the festival and get creative with their submissions. The festival kicks off on May 4th, and viewers can enjoy a series of 25-second films commissioned by LEGO, created by a variety of studios, individual creators, and AFOL filmmakers.

Whether you have a new idea for a film or a past creation that fits the 25-second criteria, the LEGO Group invites you to participate in this exciting celebration of fan creativity. So, grab your camera, unleash your imagination, and may the Force be with you as you embark on this cinematic adventure!
