Paysend, the global money transfer company, has announced an expanded partnership with Currencycloud to further enhance its remittance services. Ronnie Millar, CEO and Co-Founder of Paysend, expressed excitement about the strengthened collaboration, noting that both companies share a vision for simplifying and broadening access to international money transfers.
This development follows Paysend’s recent deepened partnership with Mastercard for cross-border payments solutions targeted at small and medium-sized businesses. With the extended association with Currencycloud, Paysend is set to significantly scale its remittance offerings in key regions such as the UK, EU, Canada, and the USA.
Leveraging Currencycloud’s expertise in remittance services, Paysend’s customers in these regions will now have access to more cost-effective and transparent options for sending money to over 180 countries through Swift and other local payment networks. Piers Marais, Head of Product for Currencycloud, emphasized the importance of remittances in cross-border flows and welcomed Paysend’s technological advancements in this space.
In addition to supporting Paysend with its remittance services, Currencycloud will also assist in the launch of new consumer-facing products throughout 2024. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation and improving the global money transfer landscape for customers worldwide.
