Actress Kiara Advani was recently honored at the Women In Cinema Gala, which took place alongside the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The gala, hosted by the Red Sea International Film Festival and Vanity Fair Europe, was described by Advani as “a night to remember.”
Advani was one of six women recognized at the event for their contributions to the film industry. She graced the occasion in an off-shoulder pink and black gown with a bow on the back, paired with black lace gloves. Her hair was styled in a chic high bun, and she accessorized with an ornate neckpiece and ring.
The actress took to Instagram to share photos from the evening, captioning the post with “A night to remember.” The Women In Cinema Gala aimed to celebrate women who are breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations of female storytellers.
In addition to Advani, the other honorees included Saudi Arabian singer-actor Aseel Omran, Saudi Arabian actor Adhwa Fahad, Senegalese director-screenwriter Ramata-Toulaye Sy, Thai actor-model Sarocha Chankimha, also known as Freen, and Egyptian actor-model Salma Abu Deif.
The Cannes Film Festival, where the gala took place, is set to conclude on May 25th.
