Limited Production Electric Motorcycle Concept-E Urban Street Tracker Now Available

French customs shop DAB Motors made waves in 2021 with the unveiling of its electric street tracker prototype, the Concept-E. Now, following its acquisition by Peugeot Motocycles, the concept has transformed into the DAB 1a, set for limited production.

The DAB 1a is powered by a 25.5-kW electric motor producing 34.6hp and 291ft-lbs of torque, allowing for a top speed of 80mph. With a Gates Carbon belt drive system, the motor is fueled by a 72-volt LI-ION battery that offers a 93-mile range and can recharge from 0-100% in just 3 hours. Featuring a Brembo braking system, DAB x Paioli suspension, multiple ride modes, a “Nitrous” power boost, reverse function, Alcantara seat, and a forged carbon front fender made from upcycled carbon fiber.

What sets the DAB 1a apart is its resemblance to the Concept-E, providing buyers with an affordable option that mirrors a renowned custom design. Despite lacking exclusivity, the 1a retains the same impressive features. Designed as the ultimate urban e-bike, the DAB 1a is engineered for city commuting.

Limited to 400 units worldwide, the DAB Motors 1a is scheduled for launch soon, with interested buyers able to reserve a spot online. Priced at €14,900 (~,000), the DAB 1a offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of cutting-edge electric motorcycle technology.
