The 3,000-guest vessel embarked on its maiden voyage on May 3 before returning to its homeport of Southampton on May 24 for a celebratory British Isles Festival voyage. The highlight of the event was a grand naming ceremony in Liverpool.

The luxury cruise brand has reported unprecedented bookings in May, with Queen Anne Europe itineraries being particularly popular. The ceremony in Liverpool saw over 50,000 attendees, with thousands more lining the River Mersey to catch a glimpse of the majestic ship. Cunard also generated over 21 million impressions on social media on the day of the event.
