Belvedere Park will be the stunning setting for the inaugural “Wiener Opernsommer Belvedere 2024.” This new open-air showcase is a collaboration between the Friends of Wienner Opernsommer association, with Joji Hattori as Artistic Director and Dominik Am Zenhoff-Söns as director and casting director, along with the Austrian Burghauptmannschaft.
The highlight of the festival will be 10 performances of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” set to kick off on July 1, 2024, with shows running until July 20th. The opera will feature an impressive cast including Thomas Tatzl in the title role, alongside Andreas Hörl, Nathalie Peña-Comas, Johannes Baumberger, Martina Neubauer, Alexandre Beauchat, Ejnar Colak, Juliette Khalil, Lisa Marie Lebitschnig, and Felix Pacher.
