Enhancing Wellbeing: Join the Weekly Mindfulness Sessions at WPI
As daily life continues to present various stressors, taking a moment for self-care and mindfulness has never been more essential. The Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) community is invited to participate in the weekly “Mindful Wednesdays” and “Mindful Thursdays” sessions designed to cultivate relaxation and promote mental well-being.
These drop-in meditation sessions are accessible to all members of the WPI community, regardless of prior experience with meditation. Each session is guided by a certified meditation instructor, ensuring that both newcomers and seasoned meditators can engage meaningfully in their practice. This inclusive approach encourages a wide range of participants to discover the benefits of mindfulness, which can lead to reduced stress and an enhanced sense of focus and clarity.
Mindful Thursdays will take place from 2:15 PM to 2:35 PM, located in the Center for Well-Being, specifically in Daniels Hall, room 102E. For those unable to attend in person, the session will also be available via Zoom at the following link: Mindful Thursday Zoom Session. The virtual option ensures that everyone, whether on campus or remote, has the opportunity to connect and unwind through guided meditation.
Additionally, participants will benefit from the weekly “Mindfulness Tools To-Go” email distributed every Friday. This resource includes a selection of meditative techniques, insightful poems shared during the week, and various mindful resources to further enhance one’s meditation journey. Such materials can provide participants inspiration and practical steps to integrate mindfulness practices into their daily lives.
