New and Improved Features Available on Glastonbury App

The countdown to Glastonbury is on, with less than three weeks to go until the festivities kick off on June 28. Festivalgoers can now get a sneak peek of what’s in store with the launch of the official Glastonbury app, created in partnership with Vodafone.

Available for download on Google Play and Apple stores under the name Official Glastonbury App 2024, this app introduces brand-new features to enhance the festival experience. One standout feature is the integration with Spotify, where a Discover function recommends artists based on the user’s Spotify profile.

Another helpful addition is Map Pinning, making it easier to navigate the festival grounds and meet up with friends. Users can set waypoints and share them with others, streamlining the process of finding each other in a crowd of 200,000 people. The app also includes directional navigation to guide users to their set destinations.

Additionally, festival attendees can filter the site for specific information like food stalls, merch stands, and accessible campsites. The app also highlights a Vodafone charging tent near the Other Stage for WiFi and charging needs.

Existing features like the Line-up section have been upgraded to allow fans to share line-ups, pin favorite stages, and sort artists by stage and time. The app even alerts users when favorited artists have overlapping performances, helping them plan their schedule in advance.

Glastonbury Festival 2024 is set to take place from June 28 to July 1 at Worthy Farm in Somerset, welcoming around 200,000 music lovers for a weekend of performances. Headliners include Coldplay, SZA, and Dua Lipa, with Shania Twain and Seventeen making special appearances as well.
