Dubai Mall Experiences Record 105 Million Visitors in 2023
Dubai Mall announced on Tuesday that it had welcomed a record-breaking 105 million visitors in 2023, showcasing an impressive increase of over 19 percent from the previous year’s 88 million. The Mall declared itself as the most visited place globally following the exceptional numbers in 2023.
Moreover, new figures released by the mall indicated that a staggering 20 million people visited within the first two months of this year alone, suggesting that 2024 is set to be another record-breaking year.

The mall’s events and promotions throughout 2023 and the start of 2024 were crucial in driving foot traffic, alongside significant festive occasions and international celebrations. Major events such as the Dubai Shopping Festival, the Dubai Food Festival, and the renowned 3 Day Super Sale further showcased the mall’s capacity to attract and captivate large crowds.
The mall’s online presence also saw remarkable growth, with its Instagram following now reaching 1.3 million. Customer satisfaction at the mall averaged at 4.6, indicating positive feedback from numerous customers.
Since its opening in 2008, Dubai Mall has established itself as the world’s second-largest shopping destination, spanning 1.2 million square meters. It boasts over 1,200 retail outlets, featuring two major department stores, Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s, along with more than 200 international dining options.
