Wake Forest University Introduces Tuition-Free Initiative for North Carolina Undergraduates
Wake Forest University has announced a significant initiative aimed at expanding access to higher education for undergraduate students from North Carolina. Effective with the incoming class of 2026, students whose families earn less than 0,000 per year will be eligible to attend the university without paying tuition. For students from families earning under 0,000 annually, the university will not only cover tuition costs but also provide financial aid to support standard living expenses. For those with incomes between 0,000 and 0,000, tuition will be fully funded, although these students will be responsible for covering living expenses and applicable fees. Additionally, Wake Forest University ensures that it meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted U.S. citizens, regardless of family income.
