King Juice Company, the owner of the popular flavored lemonade brand Calypso, has recently appointed licensing agency Brand Central to help expand the brand into new food and merchandise licensing partnerships.
Since its establishment in 1985, Calypso has grown its portfolio to include over a dozen lemonades, limeades, and zero-sugar varieties, with flagship products like the Original Lemonade and unique flavors such as Ocean Blue Lemonade and Island Wave Lemonade.
Through a multiyear exclusive agreement, Brand Central will work towards extending Calypso’s island-inspired flavors into new food categories, including frozen desserts, confections, and other beverage formats and snacks. The agency will also collaborate with licensing partners to create trendy collaborations and lifestyle products.
Ross Misher, the CEO of Brand Central, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Calypso’s passionate consumer base, great products, and fun branding that resonates well with consumers seeking a taste of vacation in every bottle.
