June 2024 is set to be a significant month for Disney World, with major changes and new offerings taking place. The spotlight will be on Magic Kingdom as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28th, marking the start of some exciting developments at the theme park.
One of the most anticipated changes is the launch of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza at EPCOT on June 10th. These venues will become dedicated Festival areas, hosting a variety of experiences including food, art, live music, and more. The first festival to be held at these locations will be the 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival from August 29th to November 23rd.
¡Celebración Encanto! is a new stage show based on Disney’s Encanto that will debut at CommuniCore Plaza Stage along with character meet-and-greets. The show will run multiple times a day until September 6th, 2024.
Joy from Pixar’s Inside Out will be leaving EPCOT to make her debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 10th. She will join other Pixar characters at Pixar Plaza, coinciding with the release of Inside Out 2.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Lion King, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will host special events from June 10th to September 6th, 2024. This includes a meet-and-greet with Timon and Rafiki at Conservation Station, an animation experience, photo opportunities, and special food and merchandise.
